Manual cars are pretty rare here in the US

The autos have a tip tronic setting where you change gear, Are you really dead set a manual trans ?

Go drive an auto and see what you think.

Hi there Hellgi

From feb. 2000 to apr. 2004 there's only made 4562 manual 320's.(28854 auto)
Let's say aprox 1000-1200 was made in 2001.
How many went to the US of A?
How many of those where black?

I really hope you'll find your car, but with that odds, don't be too disappointed if you don't.

I have a 2001 320 that I found a year ago with about 45k miles. I've put 8k miles on it since then. I have only had a few minor issues (rear view mirror, trunk struts, radio antenna) none of which were really important, and it has only cost me a couple of hundred $ to fix them all. The car is built like a tank.

There are dozens of them for sale in all shapes and sizes on eBay.com. I'd recommend you look there, as you can see all the models to include the AMG. You'll aslo be able to see lots of photos that show the differences in wheels and interiors.

I've had 36 other cars, and these SLKs are good ones...
