Default car keys problem

what battery size do you use for a 2000 slk230 keys?
my car key batteries went dead.. i replaced it with an energizer cr2050.. but it doesnt work.. what size kind of battery should i use?

Same as the one you took out m8, the number is written on the old batt, but 2050 does not ring a bell.

The batteries that came out of my 2000 230 were CR2025. You need two of them.

Try giving the old ones a clean with a dry cloth. Usually gives a few more months.. or more.

Mine are CR2025 also.

U can get them at Auto Zone, Walgreens, CVS...etc.

They are a pretty common battery.
