Intermittent indicator failure...

Hoping someone may have a clue...my dealer certainly doesn't.
I have an SLK32 AMG (2003). It's ran pefectly for the last 3 years, except for the indicaotrs failing on numerous (intermittent) occasions.
It always seems to happen when the service dept is closed. But even when I've driven straight there, nothing is logged in the car's memory as a fault.
This, to be frank, is driving me nuts.
FYI, the control unit, and the multi-function indicator stalk have both been replaced under warranty...unnecessarily as it turned out.
Any suggestions as to the cause, or any similar experiences would be much apprciated.

When you say "indicators", are you referring to the turn signals?

You might want to pose this question to Dan in DanSLK. You'll probably get more of a response.
