Default White roof

Hi, I have a 2004 black on black 320, and the inside of the roof is white. Is this normal? It kind of bothers me, because it looks out of place, but maybe they are all like that?

Yes, that is normal, there are grey and black roofs as very expensive options.

Yes, I had the same reaction. I think they made it lighter so that the cabin doesn't seem quite so claustrophobic with the dark roof overhead "pressing down". I have quite gotten used to it now.

I think Dan may have removed and recovered his in black so it can be recovered to suit our tastes.

I got used to it and I had the opportunity to change it but it was just costly, around the range of 1,000 pounds sterling which is alot for a small piece.

Yes, that's normal, but I'm used to it now. Just drive with the top down and you won't notice it!

my interior is black and ash and the inside of the roof matches the ash (lt gray), so i figured the liner was matched to the rest of the upholstery.

when i placed the order for the '09 facelift sport, the ad said that the sport pack is an excellent choice, BUT i should know, it comes with the black liner on the roof, which will have a ''downwards press effect'', while the paler grey of the standard editions lightens up the interior, and considered that a drawback.

i thought it was a better option anyway, (but again i am biased with black, as you all know by know).

best

I am not bothered with it as much as I used to back then, I just wished if I ordered the black designo alacantra roof headliner but I forgot.
