Default With or Without CLK Grill?

What you think? OEM on right.

Back when I had my SLK 320, I considered doing the upgrade. I like the horizontal lines better than the thin, tin looking grill. I think the original looks cheap compared to the rest of the car.

Ur ultimate decision. Upgrading would give it a different look for sure.

I really can't decide....I like the look of the original but the slats look goo too!

Dang, u you could put window blinds up there and that car would look awesome!!!ROFLOL
(course, I may be a little biased. hahaha)

You have a tough decision there.

Hi Kev

Leave it. There's only one model Mercedes Benz made with the grill you got...........The R170

If I ever should have another I would choose this one:

Nice one Gabus. This one looks much better. More work needed on the photo-editing software

The black with chrome tips might work on a copper SLK R170.

I'll be getting rid of the side markers when I upgrade to the AMG body kit.

The big star is a pet hate of mine on the slk, I think the starless grill works well if you like the look of the old one somewhat.

True, the copper lacks chrome. I'm still playing with PhotoPaint to see what will work and what won't.

P.S the grill gabus posted I think is the same on the guys on the other forum had a group buy on, 90% of them were broken, and had to be returned, or glued, And if a rabbit farts on mars, the chrome trims fall off.

yup, I was part of that group buy. it took me an hour to fix my grille and to glue the chrome strips in place. the grille still looks great with no problems, glad I got one.
