| What tyres are recommended for the SLK? At present I have Bridgestones on, but would like to hear about alternatives with similar attributes. |

| I would go for Michelin's or Toyo next for my SLK, check the Toyo's I assume they are reasonably priced.

| I have Michelin PS2's and are very happy thus far...of course I have only traveled about 150 miles in them.

| My sizes are 225/40 x18 and 255/35 x18 on a R171. The first brand was Continental SC3. They were okay but improvable for wet and rainy streets. The new summer tyres are Michelin PS2. In my opinion they are better. Some guys here in Germany also recommend Dunlop SportMaxx and Good Year F1 for the R170. So it depends on pricing and what's available in South Africa.
