I've noticed that the post rate on this site is very low...

Is that normal for here? Or is everyone else over at BenzWorld?

I think the activity is quite good.

Yeah, most of the R170 guys are on benzworld. Most of the R171s are on slkworld.

The R171 section is quiet strong but you can influence the owners of the R170's to join in with the rest of us, then again this is the most SLK focused website compared to Benzworld and MBworld which caters for the rest of the Mercedes-Benz lineup and Maybach's.

Correct, it has been a little slow lately. It varies during the time of year also. I do enjoy checking in several times per day. If I have a question, I'll ask it, and I'll provide a comment if I can help.

By far the most active r171 forum, I think everyone is busy this time of year, with holidays around the corner, etc.

Exactly, many are taking a rest at this time of the year or even planning for the upcoming holidays such as Christmas to those in America , Great Britain and Australia as an example.

I've found Benzworld.org (the r170 forum) to be quite busy... I'll still come back daily here and check... they've been a great help over there with typical issues/questions/guidance...

Ya just the way it is right now. Itll change dont worry!

As for me, Right now I had just had a bunch of mid term exams and papers, which is why ive been a ghost.

Altho with the growth of the sight ive become more of a lurker, checking often, but not posting that much because most of the things i am going to say, or give technical advice, is already given!!!! Which is a good thing!

Good luck mate, my 18 year old brother just finished his midterms and got good grades that I gave him my 55 for a day just to motivate him.

He is majoring in Finance and this is his first semester.

Us 170 guys are still around. But you're right, there is a much larger following at Benzworld. However, keep this in mind, you can feely post here mentioning any of the other forums without concern of reprecussion. The same can't always be said or expected from the other forums.

Glad you're here Synthetic!! I can honestly say I haven't seen one white SLK here in Germany yet...170 or 171. White just isn't a european color, but I still like!
