Hi Everybody --

Thought I'd share my joy with you: today I bought a yellow 230K, from 2000, and having been driving up and down country roads all day. Then I drove slowly down Picadilly, Shaftesbury Avenue, and Charing Cross road smiling at passers by.

I don't need to tell you how much fun that is.

Good on ya! I think yellow is a neat color. Glad you're happy, glad you got a chance to have fun with your new SLK. The chant is, "we want pictures, we want pictures..... We're happy, that you're happy. HAVE FUN!

Congrats and welcome. I also have a 2000 SLK230. They are great cars and a lot of fun. Finally the weather is nice enough here to ride around with the top down.

) - which does serve a purpose - I've always loved good cars, the blue thing is not good, it is purely an adequate transport device, never gets any attention(from me, or anyone else ! ), just does what it says on the tin, and is driven in any road or weather condition.
