| Yes after installing K&N filter, CEL came on w/ DTC PO422-423,442-443,453. Put new gas cap, cleared DTC but after few days came back on. Car runs good but CEL is irritating. Fellow members, I need your input. |

| Are they the same error codes as before you reset them?

| After market filters can mess up the maf, if over oiled, ( so they claim ) Just may need the maf cleaned But 170 does not really seem to like K&N and such. Seem more hassle then their worth IMO |

| Tenks papa & kevin for your reply. CEL lite came on prior to installing K&N, but went off after filling up gas. Alt & batteries replaced, & radio did not work-code no good, WAIT was displayed on da screen. I cannot input newcode from radio-code.com (paid $28 and for new code). Reset & cleared CEL but came back on again after so manay days esp. after engine starts in da morning. I cleaned MAF w/ CRC maf cleaner, but didn't solve problem. I'm planning to buy da MAF insert from German Star as SLKman did and maybe it will clear CEL or put back stock filter. Tenks guys. |
