Thanks guys, May not get chance to get to NY. I drove from Santa Barbara to Frisco this morning for a 2:30 flight to NY via tx. But it looks full, So trying to get to a 6pm direct to NY but that look over booked then the red eye at 10pm but that also looks booked up. Least I have the lappy and internet to keep me company in frisco aitport.

Thanks mate, the feedback makes me enjoying taking shots even more. The S is one of my favorites as on the camera it didn't looked very good. As I openend it on the laptop the road really stood out. Guess thats why they say never delete them just because they look crap on the LCD viewer.

Hey Brian...you didn't happen to bring your "mountable" camera did you? Some video carving some of those "S" turns would certainly be a great addition to the "journal". Just a suggestion...not that you're lacking in anyway of what you've shot so far. Great virtual vacation for the rest of us!!

no sorry mate, the video camera is in storage. Just had to minimalise what I could take on the trip as you know. Yes it would be awesome to get some video of those curves, specially when following a 911 untill he pulled over and let me by.

In New york at eh moment, was going to continue the California trip on wed. but now considering visitng DC while i'm here.

I used to live in the DC / N. VA area. If you get a chance, head out toward Middleburg, VA. You won't regret it. Don't take a map...just follow the sun or point toward the hills. Great drives out that way. Enjoy!

AH alas no car mate, Just flew over from frisco and my car is in frisco. Planning taking the train to DC and do the tourist thing as I may not get chance again.

My Girlfriend gave me an awesome suprise, she met me from the gate as I got off the plane then walked me to another gate where we boarded a chopper to NY city. Was a superb trip and a great way to get on the island.

Brian, you do know how to have a good time. Coast to coast. DC is a great place to visit for a couple of days. Much to see. Enjoy your east coast visit and stay safe.

Brian -- how are you ever going to be able to get back to the 40 hour grind-- some people make a good living traveling and taking pic's that aren't half as good as your shots --- have a great time on the East coast -- keep us posted

I've bin so lucky to work all over the world, don't do touristy, but one of the best things I've done was a NYC (OK, Manhattan, Queens & the Bronx) helicopter trip - Awesome, and reminded me of Kojak. - Keep the piccies coming Brian.
