| Nice pics easty, be careful driving in Colorado, roads are very icy and slick. That would be a nice road trip on a SUV not too sure about the tiny SLK. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

| Depends how you see it but with the point up, it's a male thing and point down, female... That's why you can find in India the star of David used a bit like a Ying Yang symbol |

| More images.. Meas verdi national park.. the next morning. I bailed out of going into the park. ;( got there and the park ranger said they had not done the roads and chances are I wouldn't make the 20 mile round trip through the park so I thought I'd get a couple of shots outside then head south-ish. ![]()

| 20 miles south the altitude dropped a 1000ft or so and the ice/snow vanished completely. A right turn into South Utah and it was like I was in a completely different season. With only the snow capped mountains in the distance to remind me where I was that morning. ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I stopped at an indian reserve and camped. $5 a night and it was simply without a doubt the best view I have ever seen in my life. It was cold and the campsite was dead. I got a fire going and got into the spirit of the place. ![]() I'll never forget the time at this place, I set my clock for 5:30 and made a brew as I didn't know what time sunrise was, It was about 7:00 bloody amazing. I didn't take a picture, just sat in my sleeping bag and watched.

| I have a wedding (can't miss as I'm also one of the sponsors) this Sat. Sunday is good for me. V8SLK, TSlick, Cyberdrakon, heeyoo2o, and others: let's try to meet up with Brian. Tslick where's a good place to meet between Santa Barbara and Orange County? Let's decide on a day and time.

| here's a thought (i'm allowed one per year). being a biker type, i think easty would enjoy a trip to the rock store. it's a scenic drive through malibu canyon and depending on the weather, there are typically hundred of bikes and periodically some celebs that make it there on sundays... http://www.rock-store.com/ i'm certain we could find a meet spot and caravan in. |
