What is the top speed for the standard SLK 55 with the limiter removed?

What is the top speed for modified (for exsample supercharger) SLK 55 with the limiter removed?

Well, the SLK55 Black is rated at 178, and it's roughly the same weight. No idea on a Kleeman or Renntech charged version.

They do more than you think.

Its not so much about the brute force BHP with the max speed you need to think about the gears as well, if what your thinking of is breaking the 200 barrier then it's possible but just slapping a S/C on wont do it.

I think the 030 is delimited to 176MPH

Unlimited the car would be allowed to go faster.

Add real life moving environment to this and 176 may not be a bad guess anyhow.

So without the worry of drag, 192.6mph. Not bad at all.

renntech has the limiter set for 186mph on my car. I've taked to the guys at renntech in Florida and with the proper body kit [ reduce drag, increased down force so the car stays on the road ] they feel the car is capable 196-98mph. I've gotten the car up to 162 and talk about scary fast in such a short wheel based car I can't imagin 186, 24mph. faster.

Thanks for info. I change the ECU on my 55 and remove the limiter. The new power is 173 kw with 500 nm torque. I obtained 175 mph and was it not for the traffic it could go faster.

I think there's a challenge afoot for the fastest recorded slk55 land speed.. Modded and stock. ok how do I pull this chip thingy out?
