| When/after they are installed, is there much or a change in the sound of the car one could notice? I know it's more about the performance, but the wife drives it daily and the "S.A.F." (Spouse Appreciation Factor) could be jeopardized if it becomes too loud. A little more is OK, and she wouldn't mind- a lot could be an issue. I'm sure the rest of the exhaust system will do what it's supposed to and muffle it, I'm just curious. -Webslinger |

| Its definatley marginally louder though mine is very loud because I removed the secondary oem catalytics for a larger 3" 200 cell Kleemann one's, deleted the resonator via a SuperSprint/Carlsson X pipe. I am sure it wont disturb your wife, I hope its slightly louder than being significantly loud as opposed to mine.

| Slightly louder isn't a problem. I just know what it did on my other car when I added them... I could post this as seperate question, but I am going to need new gaskets where the headers meet the heads. Do I use MB gaskets, or do I need RENNtech header gaskets? I assume the latter... |

| The mount's to the engine will be the same so i don't see why MB gasket's won't work

| Great suggestion on the shop, they look top notch. Sadly they are in the LA (southern calif.) area and I am in the northern california area- between San Francisco and San Jose. Thank you for the suggestion though! |

| Hi, don't know if you guys are interested but I have a pair of renntech headers that I purchased before I change my whole exhaust sytem to Super Sprint. The headers where in use for about 5k miles. I had them sent out to Jet- Hot cleaned up and coated them in sterling silver, you can check out what Jet-Hot is about by going to slk world forum and clicking general discussion and go to pg.2 skroll down to jet-hot the hottest hi temp coatings.[my super/sprint headers are in the exact same coating] I'm asking $3500.00 for them, the slk world store is asking $4149.00 with out the jet-hot coating. If interested you can P.M. me thanks.

| Question Time Ken... How did you like the RENNtech headers before you swapped 'em out? Did you get an MB dealer to do the installs or did you have to go to a 3rd party shop? Could you feel the performance gain having them before moving to the SS setup? What prompted you to move to the SuperSprint full headers? |
