Remus exhaust

Has anyone fitted a Remus exhaust muffler. What does it sound like?
I am tossing up between Remus & Piecha Sport - probably not the Performance. Any thoughts on this?

I can assure you that Remus is good as it builds for many european tuners, you should listen to the Supersprint system as I find it to sound just good and not excessively loud if you know what I mean.

I just bought the Remus system and got it installed yesterday. While I'm happy with it, it sounds almost identical to the factory SLK350 exhaust at idle. Perhaps on a fraction deeper, but certainly not louder. It opens up a little at mid rpm, and closer to redline it actually becomes a little "raspy" in sound. I'll be honest, I expected more in sound quality, and was a little disappointed.

However! My car's accelleration has noticably improved at hi rpm. It made me realise the engine was choking a little but now seems to revs freely between mid range and redline.

With the change in driving characteristic, I'm happy. I was hoping for a little more volume, but I think I can live with my purchase. The quad pipes look the part too!
