Sprintbooster Install

I hesitate to post this under Performance Mods as I know there is no performance gain, but whatever.

I decided to buy a Sprintbooster mostly out of curiosity but have found that I have no idea how to install it in my '05 SLK350. I can't seem to find any detailed instructions or photos of the install. Hopefully someone here will be able to help.

On top of your throttle pedal will be a conector disconnect it and plug it into the SB then the SB should plug into the throttle pedal.

Exactly what kind of "snake oil" is it? There is so much of that junk out there (i.e., the "turbonator") that it is difficult to identify a product by merely calling it "snake oil" Such products are legion!

Thanks, the "forum search" does work, and now I understand the situation. This thing does the same as "tightening up my throttle cable" on my S 2000 (which still has one). Just a matter of "feel" and nothing more.

Well, I did the "throttle cable" job on the S 2000 in about 30 seconds, and for free. And because of poor low end torque, maybe the S 2000 needed it. But my SLK does not need it, especially to the point of my PAYING for it.
