| I hesitate to post this under Performance Mods as I know there is no performance gain, but whatever. I decided to buy a Sprintbooster mostly out of curiosity but have found that I have no idea how to install it in my '05 SLK350. I can't seem to find any detailed instructions or photos of the install. Hopefully someone here will be able to help. |

| On top of your throttle pedal will be a conector disconnect it and plug it into the SB then the SB should plug into the throttle pedal.

| Bill T: Exactly what kind of "snake oil" is it? There is so much of that junk out there (i.e., the "turbonator") that it is difficult to identify a product by merely calling it "snake oil" Such products are legion! |

| Thanks, the "forum search" does work, and now I understand the situation. This thing does the same as "tightening up my throttle cable" on my S 2000 (which still has one). Just a matter of "feel" and nothing more. Well, I did the "throttle cable" job on the S 2000 in about 30 seconds, and for free. And because of poor low end torque, maybe the S 2000 needed it. But my SLK does not need it, especially to the point of my PAYING for it. |
