The difference between the standard and the AMG paddles are in the color and size: AMG silver and bigger, standard black and smaller. The new AMG steering wheel is a little bit oval now, too.

I bet that took some work to fit good on him!

Did he code it all himself or did the dealer do it?

Since thats the 07 combi does he have the AMG menu on there? and does it work?

Arnd installed the wheel, the dealer did the job with the instruments about 3 months ago. Everything is working perfect.

Yes Dan. Now he´s able to see the oil temperature, which should be standard of each SLK.

Yes mate i agree with you 100% it should be a standard feature not just on the SLK but the entire range, it's so much more important than the crap they show otherwise.

Just out of curiosity pal when i replaced my cluster i had to replace the central gateway also, could you find out exactly what stuff he had replaced to get the cluster going in his car when i replaced my 05 unit with a modded 07 i only got maybe 10% of the function's going even with the latest software on the ZGW once i replaced the unit all was fine something that neither me nor Brabus expected.

Cheers

Dan, it worked right after installation and SDS update. No other special things to install.

So just the SCN coding then.

Thats very interesting thanks for asking for me mate i wonder what caused mine to complain.

Suppose the tech in the 55 is older than the 350 gonna have to make some compromises somewhere.
