| Anyone ever put drag radials on your SLK? I'm discovering that I can't find the right size. Stock overall diameter is 24.75 inches or 628.65 mm. I run on regular tires : 265/35 18s which are overall diameter of 25.30 inches 265/30 19s which are overall diameter of 25.25 inches The closest I can find is from BGF 275/35 18s with a diameter of 25.57. My concern is the higher diameter of an additional 1/4 inch over my largest size today and also the wider width. My car has not been lowered but does have the 030 package. First first question is if anything this the 275/35 18 will work Secondly if anyone has figured out a good drag radial size for the SLK regardless of rim size. Third how can I reprogram the various computer systems that have everything set to the current standard size to be slightly larger. I don't want ABS etc all going crazy. |

| Nope. The rears were already rolled from the factory. Fit almost perfectly. there was a little bit of rubbing for the first 2 days , but i assume that was just the little spiky thingies because it stopped quickly. |

| Didn't Bill T have some Mickey Thompson drags on his former SLK 55?

| Heh I'm not to worried about wearing them out. I run 100 octane all the time ... might as well also get crazy wearing tires! I have my extra set of carlsson UL 19s with Goodyear GSD3s anyways. |
