| I am trying to get my car to perform a little better in the turns on the track. I have been 4 times so far and am officially addicted. I have the O30 package on my 55 and am considering K&W V3 coilovers. Anyone have any opinions on these and any additional recommendations for upgrades other htan power??? |

| Thanks Dan, I was thinking of the CCW C14s for $2600 for the set plus $for tires. Not a bad deal.. Are there any sway bar/body stiffening upgrades for the R171 55? |

The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving set-up. These unique systems with the 3 individually adjustable components, allows for adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the highspeed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been preset by KW engineers. | Both the alloys and the KW's sound good, they should produce a noticeable effect. I think Brian (Easty) is working on a anti-roll bar similar to the 55BS

| Does Eibach offer an anti-roll kit for this car? If so, is it better than AMG sway bars?

| Yeah, would like a good anti-roll (sway) bar for the front. Also, understand Kleeman offers the PSS-9 coilovers for the SLK55. |

Just had H&R Coilover Kit put on my SLK. This is a track performance version. Had the ride height lowered Front: from 26" to 25"; Rear: from 26" to 25.1". Had the corner balanced also: Cross Balance: 49.3% LF: 923 RF: 908 LR: 790 RR: 828 Car still rides really well (I think better than the normal street suspension, especially on the chunky cement streets here in Plano), and performed much, much better on the track.

Sounds great. I have been looking to do this for a long time but waiting for someone to pave the way. I have not seen many 55's with coilovers. Please post pics as soon as you can!! Where did you get the work done and if you don't mind, what was the cost? Thanks, Ed

~1300 for the kit, ~ 1600 for the work. A little more expensive than I wanted, but the corner balancing makes a huge difference. I will get some pic's soon.

| Quickie question. Is there any significant differences between Bilstein PSS(say 9 or 10) or KW V3? Which one may be better??

| For the SLK only the Bilstein PSS9 is available. The Bilstein is easier to adjust than the KW suspension, but which is the best? ![]() I am very satisfied with my Bilstein. Here something to read about it: http://www.slkworld.com/general-modi...-bad-idea.html http://www.slkworld.com/ask-dansslk-...n-upgrade.html

| Does anyone here have KW V3? Have you ever tried PSS9's? I decided to go with PSS9's and I'm wondering if this is something that's going to lead into me selling them for KW's later on?? Or is the difference so minimal it won't make a huge difference to me? Thanks!
