Exclamation SLK350 Sport Suspension Help with Parts & Install...

The Auto Nation dealers here say NO to me buying through them, from the factory the Sport Suspension shocks and springs and paying them to put on my car. They do not like my arguement comparing the suspension parts with the AMG wheels they put on long after the sale has completed being stock parts for the car, although it was not delivered with them on. Nor do they appreciate the fact I am trying to get my replacement car to match the one they totalled, on the car they made profit from.

These parts are standard on all 2007 280's and 350's, I would think they should be readily available. Can anyone help me with obtaining these parts? Can someone who has had them put on afterwards tell me who they had do it?

It is so deliciously close, if the price and effects to the warranty line up, I would like to consider having the better suspension.

As far as i know the parts should be available at a respectable Benz dealership. However if you are already considering upgrading your suspension, perhaps you may want to go with Brabus or some other aftermarket options as other member have done.

I have the sports suspension on my car, though it came with it from factory. I am very happy with it, but wish i had my car sitting slightly lower.

I have to stay with what was available from the factory for the year to stay in the stock class for autocrossing. A Brabus or coil-over suspension would pit me against turbo race prepped S2000's without any passenger seats, interior or sound deadening. Already I'm handicapped by the car's weight, do not want to make it worse.

After all, this is my daily driver.

Bejak did work on his suspension but not the factory sports suspension. He might be able to help.
