|  Hi - this is an old thread but my question is regarding Kleemann SC upgrade. Also, the replies above are very interesting, as I have a 350. I'd love to get an AMG, but in my country that would be $40k extra. Since I'd want a new one, replacing my two year old 350, that would be about $70k extra. I can't afford that. So I'm looking to keep the SLK350 for at least 3 years longer, but I want a bit of extra performance. The question is, how much and at what price? Kleemann sent me the following information on a Kleemann supercharger for the 350: "The compressor kit cost 8.000,00€ + freight and VAT if you don’t have a VAT number or you live out side EU. The car will get up to 330HP and 440NM...The freight to Australia will be about 330,00€. It would be a good idea to also make the ECU which will cost you 1350,00€. We do not have complete exhaust for your car but we can recommend our headers which cost 1840,00€" So, what do you think? After freight and installation it's still very expensive. I appreciate everyone will have a different opinion, I am interested in what you think. Thank you. |

| After some back and forth emails it appears I have been quoted the SC for the M113 engine. Kleemann says of a SC for the M272: "We hope to be ready in about 4-6 weeks with this compressor" Sorry for the false alarm to those waiting for a 350 SC. Looks like it might be close though. |
