| More information please gero, I am understanding the concept but how about clarity so would if offset the matching 11 speaker Harmon Kardon system? I see many of the footwell speakers on Large Cars such as Hummer H2's and escalade's but not on a considerably smaller car such as our SLK's as it might even decrease legroom which doesnt suite many as is.

| personally i think the leg room for the SLK is already very limited, I'm around 6", sat in there once while someone elase was driving and it felt really cramped, can't imagine what'd happen if i put this in. |

| I wish there was a way to relocate that plate under the carpet further down. I don't have Comand so no AG there like most others and if you take that plate out there is tons of room. To me the passenger's side is very cramped for leg room vs. the driver's side. |

| I don't understand. Is there an OEM part that gets removed first? Also, by looking at the picture below and where the netting is in relation to the speaker, it appears as though it takes up just a little more space. In fact, the basic difference is the angle of the footwell. With the speaker installed, the footwell is a little more vertical.

| There is a foot rest, which must be removed. Instead of it you fit the speaker. A little more vertical could be. I´m not sure. I´ve seen and heard it in Marcus Piecha´s car some days ago. |
