Does Kleemann make any engine mods for the SLK55? I'll confess, I don't know enough about my car. I had it for 3 days before leaving for business for the past 3 months with 1 more to go
I plan to do the Green filters and the Smart Top module, but I'm always interested in more power!!!
Thanks

Oh WOW, three days and then gone for months. That's got to be tough. How many times have you read the manual? We hope you get home soon and can enjoy that beautiful SLK 55.

Go to "My vision of a perfect SLK55" thread, there is a pdf file on third page of everything kleemann makes for the SLK55. There is a lot... including kompressor, headers, camshafts, exhaust, etc.

There are a lot of superchargers available for the SLK 55.

Also some filters, and headers.

Thanks guys! I'll check out the Kleemann PDF. I've looked at Renntech and can't justify almost $16k for a supercharger. There's want, need, and rediculous.

Kleemann is slightly cheaper, about 16,000$ installed. Plus it gives you more horsepower than renntech...

chiwiilia not only that Kleemann transforms your already monsterous SLK55 into a Brutal Contender with a Supercharger there are also Camshafts, Headers, LSD , Springs, bigger brakes and lighter wheels.

So the Kleemann S1 comes with new electronic fuel injection setup but the Renntech includes the intercooler? Which, in your opinions, is more important/reliable.
Thanks guys for the help!

Actually they both include the intercooler, I would say both are equally reliable setups.

As stated both have intercoolers kinda necessary really it helps stop things from going bang so not something they can charge extra for.

Its sounds like the Kleemann unit interfaces with the computer to allow it control the pressures so it uses the stock hookups probably and is simply a re-map with a fancy name given to it whereas the Renntech is a self contained unit.

Either one should do the trick i think
