I dont like those; they do look to extreme and shows that you badly want to be a SL or even an SLR; If only the SLK was longer, maybe that would look okay, but for its size as the french say Je de teste le gills.LOL

It looks too much to me also! Besides they even look 'hand made'!!!

The Black Series "gills" look proportioned to the SLK, however, I do agree with the other comments regarding the long side fins referred to as "gills"..... Not for me!!!!
