SLk350 Custom Exhaust

Hey everyone!

Finally got around to making a video of my exhaust.

It's got a nice low rumble under 3000rpm, and when it lets loose at over 4000, it gets SUPER THROATY!

2.25" piping was increased to 2.5". xpipe, catback and solo performance mufflers.

The car has also been lowered on Eibach Springs. Gave me about an inch drop.. I'm thinking of moving to Bilstein PSSS9s next year!

sounds nice but unfortunately, you simply can't tell what an exhaust sounds like by revving it in neutral.

The noise is generated by gas flow which will increase by probably two orders of magnitude when the engine is under load.

Think about your fuel consumption at idle compared to when moving.

I figured that, but all the videos my gf took while the car was in motion didn't turn out that great.

Can you post some shots of the tips and the rest of the exhaust system (if possible)? At least your custom exhaust sounds louder than my stock exhaust.
