has anyone replaced the standard rear back box, i like the style of the amg, but not the cost. anyone gone for aftermarket exhaust options?

yes, I have supersprint, there's brabus, carlsson, remus, and piecha, or you can go to a local muffler shop and have it custom made for cheaper.

+1 on Ynot's suggestion. There's a guy down the street from me with a beautiful setup on his SLK200 (4 tip AMG style) - he had it done at a local shop for a fraction of what the tuners want.

I've been on a Brabus C-class, being its a 200K it sounds sweet and very throaty which is just how a mercedes should sound. A Delicious and very snappy sound at lower rpms but has a nice bark to it when you reach the limiter and let go, a sort of a back fire.

Garage

Anybody running a Remus? OK, I'll go look for a sound clip now. I have one hanging on the garage wall that I pulled off of my old 190D that's still in excellent shape after 200,000 miles. It was originally for a C class, but the hangers were modified for the 190. I'm going to try to talk Wifey into letting me put it on the 320. I'll make it fit...
