Default Intercooler Help

hey SLK world, i just picked up a 1999 Slk 230K "sport".
ive found some front mount intercoolers online, but ive yet to come across some intercooler pipe kits... are there any available.

Ive had extensive experiance with japanese cars like evos and sti's and hard piping always makes more power than plastic and rubber (plus it looks a lot nicer!).

Any research/projects or experiments done?

If not i think i will fabricate my own.
thanks

I dont think you need an intercooler now since your engine isnt extensively modified, The most Mercs I've seen with updated intercoolers are the ones with the big bore kit, different pistons and valve springs.

Why not start off with ecu, filters, exhaust system and pulley ?

S/C cars use after coolers, Turbo charged cars use FMIC's.
I think the the guy above should open his hood first to see what he has inside.

I think you should learn English before you judge people, look at your first sentence. ^

I am sorry if it sounded in a bad way.
It was not my intention at all.
