|  Renntech ecu flash Im looking for the flash file for Renntech's pn#01 170 00 08 (package 4)upgrade, to compare with my own. I want to verify the dealer didn't accidentally re-flash my ECU with stock data. Im getting mpg in the 30s(light foot) but it doesnt seem to lightem up in 3rd gear anymore as easly as it did before. Also what is the best PC interface for re-flashing the ECU, one that is good and stable with KWP2000? Aftermarket interfaces seem to have difficulty with some Benz models. |

 | What's an SLK 38? With this equipment and flash file you could flash it over even if you didn't originally have the renntech ecu right? Why would the dealer 'accidentally' re-flash your ecu? i thought that could only happen on the R171s and W211s? |

| A SLK38 is a SLK320 with all the renntech options, bigger engine 3.8L, suspension, bigger wheels & rims, bigger brake rotors with Brembo calipers and a re-flashed ECU to work with the bigger engine. It is the non supercharged version of the SLK38K. It is easy for the dealer to re-flash the ecu. Unfortunately there is no way of identifying a Renntech upgraded ecu without compairing the flash files. Im hoping there are others with pn#01 170 00 08 (package 4)upgrade that have read their ECU's. |

| Hmm, very interesting, i've heard of it, but never ever actually known of a real car. Renntech isn't interested in helping you out? |
