Ok, if cat isn't out of the bag yet, I love to modify cars. Mostly power train stuff. Though I'd be better off financially if I could kick the habit. eh, oh well. I'll die poor with some quick cars! Understand that I have two project cars already so the SLK 230 is honestly 3rd in priority and the one I have the least knowledge on.

Current plans:
1) Pulley Kit: ASP Racing
2) Oversized Throttle body: ?no idea where to find one?
3) Header: ?also no idea?
4) Exhaust: ?no idea?
5) CAI: ?no idea?
6) ECU Tuning: no idea



Ok, for me the three most important parts are the tuning, the tuning, and the tuning. After that, I'll tune it some more. But I have a few questions. Are there reflashes available? Can a tuner shop actually tune this ECU? Will I be forced to use a piggyback to tune? If so at what point in the modification above do you think that would be likely?

Also, anyone found that any of the products out there throw a MIL (Check engine light)?
