| Look up for linh or linhnguyen's post on benzworld.org, he'd installed it on his r170 long time ago and was helping out other member's with their installations. Give him a PM if you run into trouble or need tips. He's a nice guy.

| Invite him to join SLKworld while you're at it. Would be nice to hear/see and learn/share from the mechanical and electrical and electronic talents/gifts.

| He doesn't own a r170 anymore, he drives a CLK cabrio now, so doubt if he'll be interested in slkworld.

| Look for cyberdrakon's link on DIY and tutorials, if you can't find it, it's stickied on benzworld in the r171 section.

| If you need installation tips or run into trouble send me a PM. The main thing you need is the proper tools (i.e. spring compressor, impact wrench) otherwise installing springs is very difficult. I can tell you this, with the proper tools a spring change for all 4 can be done in about 30 to 40 minutes. But excuse me if it takes a day to get back to you, I live in Germany so time difference plus I only go on the internet once a day at most. |
