| By the book for that year and model shows at the flywheel: Net power 185 hp @ 5,300 rpm Net torque 200 lb-ft @ 2,500-4,800 rpm Consistent with your dyno at the rear wheels. |

| Thanks for the info Tslick. I have been bummed out about it all day today thinking it was low on power. We put a stock 4 cyl Integra GSR motor from Japan with a bolt on Super charger from Jackson racing in my son's Honda Del Sol. We tuned and dyno'd it to 186whp with stock fuel injectors. (Not getting enough fuel) Should be 210-220whp with the right sized fuel injectors per the Dyno people. Why is the 4cyl SLK motor so much less whp???? Anybody got a CHEAP pulley kit??? LOL SLKman

| the del sol weighs about 12 pounds, so once the proper injectors are in, i'm afraid dad comes in second (aka first loser).

| You got me laughing with that "Man Law" statement. ARG!!!!!We got the injectors for the honda and will put those in and dyno it again on Sat. Then we will know for sure what he has with the new injectors. His car is about 2200 lbs and when I drove it, man, it was like a rocket! No way I could touch him with my SLK. That's ok. I'VE GOT STYLE!!!!! SLKman

| Yes don't think a car is fast because it has a high peak Bhp. It's all about the tourque and your car has a good flat tourque curve. Thats power when you want it. Anytime.

| 4 BEST upgrades for the SLK230: 1. ASP Pulley Kit 2. Over Bore throttle body 3. Ported supercharger 4. 2.5" header-back custom exhaust / racing catalytic. there are people with the above modifications and a little bit more (intake, plugs..etc) running close to 220whp on the 230K. its just a matter of finding unyielded power!! |
