Slk550?!?!

So my wife tells me shes behind two morons weaving in and out of traffic coming up Sahara Blvd. One is in an SLK55 AMG (she saw the badges) and the other is in an "SLK550" (with no AMG badge). I said "WHAT?!?!"

So I proceeded to educate her on SLK model/power plant anatomy....SLK200, SLK280, SLK350 and SLK55 AMG.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is NO SLK550 and the fact there was no "AMG" badge gives it away to any real SLK or MB enthusiast...no?

was gunna say try the new 550. Backs look similar, I mean its the same lights etc.

I'll show her this and see, but she still says they were the same car, just badged differently. My thinking is some idiot bought an SLK280 or 350 and rebadged it to be something it isn't assumming no one would notice...yeah.
