| Tissot are excellent watches. Swiss time keeping is excellent, bet it neevr misses a minute. My brother swears by Tissot. he owns a Cartier aswell, but prefers his Tissot as its so light. (could be here all day now, cars and watches my 2 favourite things)!!! |

| Yes I have to pick up another tissot, or Swatchs tend to be a little cheaper for everyday beatings. But Im interested in the quality of those SLK watches I had posted before, anyone get one? How do they feel and look, quality of material? and last, ne one who knows who makes them? |

| COOL! I have the earlier Citizen version of that watch, but I like the way they did it more square and with the blue! Mine is huge round and mostly white. I like weird watches. I take back expensive ones and buy interesting ones. ;-) My favorite is my skeleton self-winder, you can see the mechanics front and back. I have been waiting to get one of the Tissot Rock Watches, and have been thinking about a Brietlig I saw during the Bentley thing. I wear the Marquis Skeleton one shown below for work, and normally a Fossil Titanium for regular use. People here love dangling thier Rolex's, both the real ones and the Chinese knock offs that look exactly the same but stop running if they get rained on. (Not saying yours is, just a lot of wanna be's here have them. They try to live large, the small beach condo, the leased Ferrari, and knock off everything else for two years until everything is repossesd.) One of these days I'll find my holy grail watch. A self-winder skeleton with moon phase.... With a halluva lot better movement then the Steinhausen. Nice watches you guys have though. I especially like the red formula one and the blue Citizen. Keep putting the pics up! Does anyone know the story of why the Rolex's hour hand has that Mercedes-like symbol? Last edited by RacerCub68; 10-17-2006 at 01:23 PM. |

| I know what they have in common, they both sell their product at a highly inflated price on the basis that quality and handcrafted skills are at the upmost. Rolex make 1 million watches a year and have a company with roughly 7,000 people. SO each guy is knocking out at least one $5000 watch every 2 days or there using automated processes. consider in a company of 6,000 there's probably 40% actually making watches. i'm not saying I wouldn't buy one.. I'm a little sinicle and like to draw the parallel.
