so i got a wild hair yeserday and continued the body decor strip down from my truck. the day after i brought it home i peeled off all of the chrome lettering (tailgate and both front fenders), then i pulled the bow tie off of the tailgate. well, yesterday i pulled off the door ding protector strips from both sides. getting the adhesive off was a huge PITA trying using the hairdryer and credit card method. i went to a local auto parts store and found an adhesive remover made by 3m. it worked reasonably well. i followed it up with a quick coat of wax. here are the before and after pics...
