Based just on looks, i would go with the Holden. Don't know much about any of these cars though...plus the Holden has the most power! are the torque figures about the same between the ford and the holden?

i like the holden, but because of my german pedigree, i would probably go for the vw station. you may also want to look at the mb or bmw or audi in this category... good luck with your choice! best ir-ops

| Why are you looking at a station wagon? Do you need the added space and storage? Are you looking more for utility/hauling space/versatility or just a regular sports sedan?

i'm a Drummer, sometimes i got gigs. i've to carry 2 Cymbal Bag, 1 snare drum, lots of Cymbals stand and etc. SLK is too small for all these thing, and i dont like driving a SUV. so i'm looking for a sports Sedan/Wagon.

I would be going with the Volkswagen in car form, as opposed to the wagon. The Falcon looks fugly, and the Commodore would pass anything except a gas station..........not to mention the legendry (not!) Holden & Ford build quality. As ir-ops said I would also be looking at OTHER Mercedes & Audi offerings (not fussed on Beemers myself).

Just some info for those that don't know too much about the Holden - in other countries its known as the Chev / Lumina SS etc... Personally i'd go with the Holden - i know it offers loads of room for both drivers and passengers and its a big car. Much better than a VW.

Based on looks alone, definately NOT the ford. In my opinion the front end is hideous. Looks like they tried to look futurish but just came out looking half baked. The holden looks the nicest of the 3, if fuel economy isn't a problem cause that V8 probably drinks it up. Have you looked into the mercedes Blue tech line? Or perhaps that mercedes sedan that does 0-60 in like 4.3 seconds?

Hey if price wasn't an option i'd suggest the C63AMG of even the more powerful CLK63AMG. If you're looking at used cars, have you perhaps thought of a C55? or even a CLS? imo, there's nothing wrong with the holden. I personally wouldn't take a Passat, but the Holden is quite heavy on fuel.

C63 AMG... too expensive for me. it costs about $150,000 here in Australia.(maybe higher) the C55? i don't really like the looks of W203 and the CLS is not really my taste.
