That's exactly what I told the owner Dan, along with some crack about training wheels on front - but we're good friends, so it's all give and take *L*.

i rode a spyder and i was underwhelmed by it. acceleration was pretty good, handling and braking were marginal. no real advantage over a motorcycle except perhaps for some physically disabled persons who would not be able to hold a motorcycle up.
give me a motorcycle or car, but not this type of hybrid.

In the 80s, Full AMG engine work with no body work was common, now it's the other way around....you sure there's no AMG DOHC 6.0 Liter beast in that R107? I'd bet on it not having anything and the owner just being a POSER...but you never really know with the older cars.

I saw one of those running south along Bolsa Chica this weekend. A few minutes latter, saw a trike heading the same direction. Not a fan but different.

I agree! cant see the point of it? i think i have seen a similar thing around here (London, South Kensington) yesterday... perhaps a way to get around the congestion charge in London
