November 2007 Picture Contest Vote Poll

Thanks to all who participated in our 1st SLKWorld Monthly Picture Contest!

Winner of this month's contest will pick December's Theme.

November's Theme: Autumn/Fall Colors, may be wet or dry.

Rules/Guidelines (remember, this is for fun):
1. Each member should have the right to submit ONE (1) photo. Limit one entry/photo per member.
2. Deadline for submissions should be set to the first 7 days of the month.
3. After deadline voting should end ten (10) days after the submission deadline.
4. Limit one (1) vote per member.
5. Use external urls in order to keep this site with least traffic.
6. We should avoid making any post during the contest.
7. Use of Photoshop or other editing software are not allowed.
8. SLK should be in the photo.
9. This month's winner gets to choose/decide on next month's theme.
10. Photos taken in the last 30 days preferred, refrain from recycling prior photos.
11. Voting will close on the 15th of the month.

Please view link below to see submitted pictures, pick your favorite and come back and vote for it!

Names of those that vote are not going to be able to be viewed this month. Maybe next month if you you all think they should be.

Next month we hope to be able to post all picks in one thread for all to see and vote on. (sorry, I was not able to do this for some reason?)

Thanks SLKman. I did ask Admin for help on the other thread. I think there's a fair number of things going on in terms of the vB software. Something we're not aware of as they're probably working hard behind the scenes. Thanks Admin!

It's hard to post a poll (except when done by Admin) as a poll is allowed mainly on a new thread from the person that started the thread. The number of pix and entrants is not determined ahead of time. One is not able to attach a poll on a retrospective basis.

I'll vote later tonight after reviewing the entries.

I think the way it is now, although a bit primitive, is fine. Save the $$$. I personally don't mind viewing the pix at one thread and then vote at another thread.

Great shot Lizard. It seems you've found the perfect road for an Autumn pic. I wish we had more roads like that near me... Although, I probably just need to look more.

Thank you all for the compliments. It was actually a really cold morning. My hands were numb after the shoot. It always look better in pictures

I can cancel Thread and it can be reposted later or we can change the rule to give more time to submit???
