as the result of poor service at my dealership, honest feedback on a customer survey and a service manager who was trying to retain a customer, i do have an mb golf bag (free of charge). the bag is ok. it's light and the legs work well. there is plenty of storage and it has the double straps. the shaft dividers are ok but after some bouncing around in the back of a cart, the grips will catch on each other. my only real issue with the bag is that i cannot adjust the straps to keep the butt end pointing down. when both shoulder straps are on, the bag sit parallel to the ground. i'd prefer the heads to point slightly upward to prevent the clubs from wanting to fall out.

it was worth what i paid for it ($0.00). unless you really want the mb logo, take the $200.00 and buy a callaway or ping bag.

Scott
Looks like you were given a stand bag. I'm thinking of a cart bag but then I thank you for your honest opinion. Fashion brands cannot compare with pure golf brands and I'll take on broad your opnion and probably get a Callaway.
Do you know how many inch was your MB golf bag?
Thank you.

ellimb, my apologies for not seeing your follow-up question before you bought your bag. yeah, it's a standard size bag and fits in the trunk with the top down. i have to take the driver out, and wedge it in beside the bag, but it works.

enjoy your new bag.

Have a nice time at golf. With the SLK and the new MB Golf bag, you'll have nice scores too.

After destroying Pebble Beach a few weeks ago (and not in a good way) I am headed back to the course on Saturday with a former employee who is back in town for the weekend. I'll toss the clubs in the front seat, grab the camera, and we will see how the piccies turn out. Please do the same. Have a great round, go for it on all the par 3's, and don't scratch the bumper putting the new bag (not the spousal replacement) in the trunk. Happy Thanksgiving all. I am learning that we all have a great deal to be thankful for..and many folks may not appreciate just how much.

Hi Folks
My golf was good on Saturday and submitted my 1st handicap card with 3 pars and the rest were double bogey or more but Sunday was a disaster with one par 9 lost balls 3 of which were hid once only.

I could not drive topless with my 9" golf bag !!! the boot cover would not click on. I did not spend too much time on it.

BUT the service cost of my 350slk was aud$1100.00 which is about USD$1000!!!! cost of Dust filter(carbon) Aud$235.00 and what was it? There is a air filter $75.00. I had brake fluid and coolant replaced and the next service 'B' in 14700 km. will need to change spark plugs. Is it easy to change the spark plugs myself?
