| Well it was time for a step up. I got my hands on the Fuji S9000 (S9500 overseas) tonight and really like the camera. I am still learning and thought that this would be a good start. Key Specs: 9mp 28-300mm fixed lens XD & CF memory Tilt/swing LCD for angle shots ![]() Review: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0507/05...000zs9500z.asp Price was very hard to step away from... $519 - $100 rebate = $419 I also was looking at the Canon XT, however the kit was almost double the price with a 55mm lens. Granted it is a true d-SLR, in my case i doubt i would use it to full capacity. I also have an Epson R1800 printer, which is capable of printing at 13x19 Can't wait to see an image off the fuji in that size. But what do you pros out there think? Good deal for a starter? | Looks like one that at least a semi-pro would use. PhilD73 and Easty should be able to give their opinion.
