| Not sure if there is any other photo lovers here, but this is a new cool util from sony. The GPS git for my camera cost about 1k. but this kit is independant to the camera. you plug it into the pc later and it matches time and gps location with your photos time taken. Then you can view via say google maps exactly where you took the photo. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0608/06...sonygpscs1.asp

Actually, Yes, I am a man by the name of Byron. It was originally posted for comedic effect. However, I am sure my husband of over 16 years would enjoy those pictures! His 3 kids, ex-wife, and Mormon church (of which he was an Elder) would probably pass along with you. Do not worry, I would never put anything near like that on this list. In fact, Taroliw scandalized me with that tail in the air comment he made. I race with red necks, I'm used to being mostly in the closet around regular car activities. Remember: The only "CHOICE" I have made in my life is to live a life of truth, love, respect and charity. However, it does explain one thing... When I was being taught to drive, I was told to treat the gas pedal like a lady. It's no wonder I slammed the bitch to the floor and stood on her!

| Well, getting back to the topic for a moment, I heard about this from a friend of mine. I like the concept, but I wish their application would update the image files with the XMP data including the location. Bonus points if it resolves the coordinates to actual locality (city/state/zip, or similar). Otherwise, it's just a bunch of numbers you have to go look up elsewhere. ![]() Quote:
So now I leave the cues of raised tails and TROLLUP (should have been TROLLOP, but silly DMV wouldn't allow it!)... gotta have fun somehow. ![]() Quote:
Mind you, I needn't go overboard with the testosterone either -- ala Humvee or similar -- as I get enough of that when I'm not driving.

When she didn't want to have fun, nobody was having fun. She also held a deep grudge against my partner Frank. He used to tell me to get rid of her, in her presence! To make a long story short (TOO LATE!) whenver Frank got in the car, the heater would start blowing cold air. As soon as he left, hot air again. He came back, cold air again. I tore it apart twice and nothing, not even a bubble in the coolant. Generally I look for the car's character as to which it will be. The Fiero GT's were always guys. Not sophisticated at all, all weight and brutish moves. The SLK is kinda a femme guy. It has balls (plenty of Torque) and solidity, it is more sophisticated. However, it also is prone to issues, which is when I remind it I do not desire a bitchy wife. The reason for the female mystique is, when it's ***y you think of it as something ***y that turns you on. For str8s that's women. Personally, when the SLK is being ***y it reminds me of my first boyfriend (Offensive Tackle for the NY Jets... Definatly NOT femme!) .... I think DANSLK just puked ... Last night I got the traction control light coming on twice after I shifted into 6th gear down the causeway. WOOOF! That's what I like to see! Spin those wheels, Papi! ...Now Easty did.... Fast cars should be men and slow cars should be women. After all, getting a man into bed takes seconds. Try to get a woman to do ANYTHING! They can be like warming up a Diesel!

Truthfully though, sometimes I find these things to be too intrusive on our lives. It's like the On-Star (Tele-Aid), people can track where you are at all times. People have been using the tattle tale Air Bag computers to use against others in an accident. I tried to get my insurance company to check mine, but they won't do it when it proves more you are not at fault. I think the Mercedes-Benz controller remembers 22 seconds prior to deployment, but I can't be sure, been a while since I saw the stats. As we gain convienence we loose privacy. Lord knows, we may not have anymore since the Patriot Act. In fact, I'll make sure the NSA Internet recorders they're putting in all the backbones at AT&T centers turn on... "So I said to her, bikini wax? I can KILL BUSH for free!" They actually "brought in for questioning" a guy in Orlando because he was so proud that one of Jeb's relatives was "prepared" by his morturary that he was telling everyone over the phone he "embalmed a Bush" but his accent made it sound like BOMB Bush.
