I thought about vanity plates but the columbine ones can't be personalized, it would have looked like the first attachment, ugly IMHO, I didn't do it, the second attachment doesn't look too bad, but it's not available anymore.

Columbine ones looks the best. I actually thought about this exact design two years before the columbine tradegy, while I driving out of state and notice many pretty license plates except ours. I told my wife, our license plates must be the ugliest of all, we need own state flower (columbine) in the middle and snowy rockies on top. Now, I have it on all my vehicles.

I tried getting personalized plates here in CA. Got a letter from DMV stating that I couldn't substitute letters for numbers and numbers for letters. I applied for 'SL1K'! Haha... 'SLIK' was taken. Oh well.. just got generic plates after that.

California is tough. Here in Virginia, personalized plates are plentiful. We can substitute a "o" with a zero and the opposite. Also, the same for "1" and l (L). Keep thinking.

This plate/vanity combo is probably more appropriate (Aerospace Commission). Hopefully it will be there when I get there.
