That's unheard of when I was in Chicago(for 5 years) to have above freezing temperature this time of year. Enjoy driving with the roof retracted.

I would nto retract my roof today in London... there is a good chace I would turn my SLK into a swimmingpool.. LOL

I actually ended up driving an '06 BMW 3 series convertible on New Yr's
Eve. . .with the top down. My wife's '02 540i is in the shop getting
it's 2nd clutch replaced (no, she doesn't ride it) and has a loaner.
Nice car, comfortable, but without the pep and cockpit feel of an SLK.
Understand BMW will be coming out with a retractable hardtop. I'm
impressed by how substantial the ragtop is, however.
