| This might not make too much sense but i can assure you i am not under the influence of anything i just want to make one thing clear. Seat backs are not designed to hold the bulk of a persons weight and will tend to jam in the lower stops when used as a bed this applies to just about every seat out there but especially for the electric ones it can make driving very interesting indeed. So either: A - Make sure he/she is really worth the bill to fix it before setting to work B - Use the hood (not as bad as it sounds) It happens more often than you might think manual seats can normally be fixed by applying weight to the backrest and pulling up but its a bitch to sort on leccy seats.

| I'm glad I don't deal with the public. Your story is amusing. Was the cars seat capable of lowering horizontal. More amusing is if the rabbits were incapable of realizing it? |

| When I first got my SLK 320 one of the first people I showed it to reached down to the seat controls and ran it all the way forward. Until it stopped working. As I recall, it actually pulled the electrical connection apart. Consequently, I couldn't move it back again. I think I drove it home with it all the way forward. Then I figured out what had happened and fixed it. Don't let people press the buttons... |
