Hello from balmy Canada
I became a proud owner of a black 2005 SLK350 last week and it will be delivered sometime this week. The dealership is arranging for truck transport. It's -27 right now so it will be a few more days before I can try out the convertible feature.
Welcome and congratulations. Thanks for filling in your profile

Congrats on the SLK350, you'll love it (especially when the weather warms up).
I fly back to Canada in a less then a week and hope Vancouver area isnt as cold as Alberta =)
Saw a friend post this on facebook today:
"At one point on Saturday night, Edmonton had the dubious distinction of being the coldest place on Earth. The record low temperature of -46 degrees was measured at the Edmonton International Airport. With the Wind Chill, it felt colder than -50. The city itself was a balmy -35 degrees before factoring the Wind Chill."
Never experienced temperatures that cold myself, I think Ive done about -20 C or -25 C when at the top of a mountain skiing, and I was 'feckin cold' (as Woolly would put it) in very good ski gear, cant imagine living in that for day-day activities!
-27C is freakin' way beyond freezing cold. Is the sun up at all today?

Congratulations and welcome from Eugene, Oregon. I remember winter days in northern Vermont with temps in the -20th and bright sunshine with still air, you would get baked on the front and turn blue in the back.
