Welcome To the forums!

I purchased a 2001 Black SLK230 Used with 176 K on it. it has some small details but even with that the figgin thing is HOT!. so I am polishing it up.

Everyone here has been very supportive.!
Still trying to find time to locate a small leak from coolant fluid.
But I dont regret getting it.

Working on it is AWESOME!

it is now 12:04 AM.. I'm so excited about tomorrow. I'll fly down to LA at around 10:30AM and will be able to see the car at around noon. I won't be able to buy it until 3:30PM though... I have the local shop look at it for me.

wish me luck, i don't want to come back empty handed.

Hey Guys, Just purchased my 2001 SLK320 last night. Drove it for 6 hours to get home. It is wonderful... but there are a few things that needs to be fix. I got to fix the Transmission Mount, Power Steering pressure tube, and reseal the valve cover gasket. I'm some what mechanically inclined, but does anyone know what the procedures are to fix any of these things.
