Just a thought. It doesn't have the german make cache, but we also have a 08 g35 sedan with 306hp and it is brutally fast and so much fun to drive. And only 35k. The decision was similar to the slk55. Coming from a 996 turbo and SL, i never considered the slk55. I went in to get the sl55 and honestly liked the slk55 better. It was just a blast to drive, like the g35. Just a thought. have a safe and fun weekend.

Thanks Erik. Yeah, I'm really torn in my decision. You make some great points. Those are some of the reasons why I haven't pulled the trigger just yet.

thanks dsb. best wishes and keep me posted if things change. honestly for the price you'll get for your car/parts I'd just keep it and lease another inexpensive practical SUV. There just not much out there that fun and exciting even the 335. you're going to spend more $$ and get a lot less joy than your slk55. Erik.

Sorry for the late response. I've been a bit busy with work. I haven't fully committed to selling the car and/or accessories just yet. Truth is, I get way too many compliments and enjoy the car a great deal.
However, if or more likely when I decide to sell it, I will let you know for sure. In November, it will be 3 years old and I would like to sell it before then so that the new owner still has a warranty available.
Again, I'll keep you posted.
