yay~everybody move to jersey!!! haha its funny cuz people in the city often cracks jokes about how jersey is the 'armpit of america' (newark smells?) i have jersey plates... but hey, a lot of SLK folks live here~besides...i think nyc smells way more....yuck

noregret: i do switch the radar from bf's car and rental cars occasionally. is there a way to hardwire in my car and be portable? if not, i dont care - rather have the slk look nice~and maybe get the valentine for bf's bday which is coming very soon! what should i get him? does anyone know nice reasonably priced parts for the elise?

HAHA

ivy, we'll work it out so you can move it from one to another. The hardwire kit is almost identical to the V1 (phone cable) i made my V1 hardwire cable, so i don't see an issue with making you one.
For the car seat covers i was thinking of something like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Mercedes-A-class...em300030309638
But you can find these at any Pepboys, Autozone... in universal fit. It would save you a lot of cleaning and protect from scratching as well.

V1 for your bf's birthday would be a nice present. I love those arrows. Honestly didn't know how great they were till i got them.

The first I've every heard jersey compared to the 'armpit of america' is on e46fanatics.com, it's hilarious some of the stuff that's said about jersey there. I've never been there so I don't know what to think.

I've heard worse. Can't repeat them here. Same is said to any place that people dislike. Honestly, can't say that New Jersey is my favorite state, but I've never lived there. I'm sure someone out there isn't fond of Virginia.

Colorado is a state that's been fighting against if for a long time but we still require them, although rarely enforced. I see many Porsche and bimmer guys driving w/o one.

Nice that's a party school. Boulder as a city is kinda wacky, very different then the rest of Colorado.

Have you been up the road to Banff and Lake Louise? I think THAT is the prettiest place in the Rockies. What I like is the road follows a wide, long, u shaped valley and you can look far down the road rather than have your view blocked by the closest mountain. Of course, there are some fun curvy roads to drive in Colorado too. But the drive from Calgary the short distance to Banff is one of my favorites.

( Of course, the drive in Colorado from Durango to Silverton and Ouray are also very picturesque. )

In fact, I had hoped to make a trip to Banff and Jasper this past summer, but it just didn't work out. Hopefully there will be a fun road trip there next summer! I can hardly wait...

There are alot of europeans at breckenridge and vail, I feel foreign at those ski resorts, it's almost like I'm in an european country. There are many scenic roads and twisties here, this is the best time of year as everything is very colorful.

Ynot, how about some photos of your silver R171 against a background of red and orange? that would be cool contrast.

The leaves are all on the ground now, I was meaning to but my brother just recently opened a business and I've been helping him out every chance I get. This leaves me no time to take pics of my car. There's still some red and orange around, I'll try my best to get some.
