Houston Lake Conroe Ride May 27th Tuesaday Bike/SLK ride

Here is info for you Houston area Folks if you want to join us. I will be driving my SLK. Our last ride I was the only SLK with about 10 Motorcycles and we had a great time! Join us if you can!

Riders,

Tuesday, 5/27/08, 12:30p.m. meet at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q for lunch. Location is 20806 I-45N at the Louetta Rd. exit.

After a lite (or heavy) lunch and ice cold beverages we will head north to Conroe and “loop the lake”.

Planned routing is 105 west to Montgomery, 149 north to Lookout Tower, 1375 east to New Waverly, and 75 south back into Conroe.

Should be a scenic ride and we will cross the lake several times.

As always, everyone is welcome (2, 3, and 4 wheels).

Had a GREAT time at the bike/slk ride until the STORM hit on the north side of the lake. Lukily we found a hole in the wall biker bar to stop at while the worst of the storm passed. They all rode their bikes into the bar but my SLK would not fit thru the door

...so it had to stay outside in the rain. A large tree next to the bar got hit by lightning and fell over. We left while it was still raining but finally outran the storm and the rest of the ride was in the sun again!
