A group of my Continental Airline co-workers are planning a Bike/Car ride...weather permitting.

They do this pretty often but this time they are allowing "Chaser Cars" to tag along. They usually have about 10-20 bikes.

Here is the info if you decide to join us.

My wife and I will be there with our SLK as a "Chaser Car".


The Meeting Place: Shell Gas Station/McDonalds northeast corner of 242 and I-45
TIME: 09:15
MOUNT UP: 09:30

Our route will take us west on 242 then left on 1488 towards Magnolia, we then turn right on Egypt Honea Rd to 2854 left on 2854 to 105 left on 105 to 149.
In Montgomery we will turn right on to 149. On 149 we will wind and turn through the national forest to Anderson, Texas where we will turn right on 90 to 244 and turn left on 244 to the Yankees Tavern for a well earned lunch. Arrival should be about 11:00 or 11:30.
The word is they have, “the greatest hamburgers in Texas”

After Lunch we will depart via the same route to Montgomery turning left on 105 to the Chrome Motorcycle Shop. After checking the Chrome Motorcycle Shop we will turn right on 105 to Loop 336 right on Loop 336 to I-45. At I-45 and Loop 336 everyone should know how to get home.

Check out your bike before leaving home!!! Check tire pressure!!!!

Since this is the first time cars are joining...cars will follow the bikes.

Had a GREAT day! Weather was perfect!

I was the only Mercedes that showed up..Kinda figured it would be that way. LOL

And yes, the burgers were the best I ever had!
