| Now, we need to figure out the winery or wineries to stop by (there's probably more than a hundred in the area). There are a few along the route but hopefully we have enough sense to wait until lunch. |

| Coworker suggested Thornton Winery and it has a fancy place for lunch, Cafe Champagne. Here's the link: http://www.thorntonwine.com/main.html Another is Callaway Vineyard and Winery. Link: http://www.callawaywinery.com/callaw...rs-center.html I'm open for any other place. Don't forget your AAA cards

| Kandy and i have a couple favorites and a couple new places we'd like to try, i'll get a list from her (i'm terrible at planning). Route wise it looks great as we'll pass very close to where we usually go anyway. When we go, the wineries let us split a sampling (as long as we use the same cup) and in this way we can get about 4-5 wineries in before we get buzzed (and start buying everything we try). Bring your wives, it'll be fun. Also remember, if you don't like the wine, they have a bucket for you to pour it out in...you don't HAVE to drink everything they pour. this keeps you from getting drunk on lousy wine (which you'll always find some on sampling trips). I don't think kandy wants to take her cayman, but i'll ask. It IS MORE FUN to go with a mate or friend, so keep that in mind. |

| I'm fine with Nov. 3 but please don't push the date just because of one person. If Oct 27 works for everyone then it's okay. I can come the next time around.

| Eddy, Lets see what other people say. At this point, October is a busy month. My first thought was the first week in November to begin with. There's plenty of time to decide. |

| I would rather wait for a day when Eddy is available. I think Scott, Tom, and Eddy are really the core of our SoCal group and it would be a shame if any of you guys couldn't make it. |

| my only request is that you all set a date and then stick to it. I keep changing my plans around trying to make it and when the date changes it REALLY creates a mess for me. So is NOV 3 locked down? |
