1) I'm waiting for Mic to reappear and plan the Santa Barbara / Ojai run. 2) It's about time we had something down south closer the Eddy. 3) Close to Mt Palamar. ![]() Since I’m not a wine drinker I’ll need help identifying good wineries near Temecula or Santa Barbara. I’ll check the auto club; they’re always talking about wineries in their articles. | |

| yes, and it was so much fun that i just got back from doing it again. i went north on glendora mountain rd from sierra madre ave (glendora). after getting past the point where it was gated off, the first roughly 4 miles were pretty tight and technical. there are a couple of areas where driving outside one's means or the car's capability = death. a few outside curves that have a small dirt berm between the roadway and a looooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg plunge. it opens up a bit after that. there are a couple of relatively high speed areas and some indicatia on the roadway (skidmarks to nowhere) that some have gone a bit too fast. it leads to the gated area that we usually stop at for pix... the spot where we saw the bow hunters hiking into. so, from there, i took the left back down east fork to hwy39. the other option was to go toward baldy. a little more traffic today than yesterday... not surprising, weekday vs weekend. about a half a dozen bicycles and most people were kind about using turnouts. one a scale of 1 to 5, today's drive gets a |
